Sometimes a little planning can help your neighbors and our visitors a lot! When having a party (high school class, band, dinner party) please add to your invitation a request to park on the West, East, North, or South side of your street. This allows neighbors to pass on our narrow streets without issue of damaging mirrors or having a minor accident. Commercial vehicles such as school buses, garbage collection, Postal Service, United Parcel Service or other delivery vehicles can make routine deliveries and pass if one side of the street is open. In addition, we have excellent private garbage collection (refer to enclosed Residential Service Parameters) and we should not be dumping trash ino open lots, our roadside drainage or in the large run off sewer system pipes. The Covenants below are part of the Restrictions you agreed to as a home owner. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Section 6. Parking Vehicles
No boat, trailer, recreational vehicle, camping unit, bus, truck, or self-propelled or towable equipment or machinery of any sort shall be permitted to park on any Lot except in an enclosed structure, or in an area adequately screened by planting or fencing so as not to be seen from other Lots, except that (i) during the construction of improvements on a Lot, necessary construction vehicles may be parked thereon for and during the time of necessity therefore, and (ii) this restriction shall not apply to automobiles and pick-up trucks in good repair and attractive condition, provided that any such automobiles and pick-up trucks are parked on an improved driveway which has been approved by the Architectural Control Committee. No overnight parking of any kind shall be permitted on any public street abutting a Lot within the property.
